Golfer’s CBD Quality Assurance
Our partner company are responsible for all stages of the production process from planting the seed to producing the extract. This is important as it means we have full traceability for our products.
We are fully committed to ensuring our products contain the exact amount of CBD stated and meet levels for other cannabinoids specified in the controlled drugs act and by the food standards agency.
Every single Golfers CBD product is batch tested to ensure that THC and other illegal cannabinoids are untraceable.
Novel Food Regulations 2021
All Golfer’s CBD products will be compliant with the Novel Food regulations that came into effect on 1st April 2021.
Established in 2019 and backed by one of the UK’s most trusted brands, we will continue to operate at the highest level of compliance, ensuring professional and amateur players are safe when using Golfer’s CBD products.
Here are some useful facts about the current CBD legislation:
- CBD is not illegal in the UK.
- In the UK, it is not permitted to make any medical claims, unless you apply for a medical licence.
- Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the illegal component of cannabis (marijuana) and The Foods Standard Agency says that levels must be below 0.2%.
- It is not legal to use isolate for products for oral consumption; distillate/oil-based products should be used.
- Products are covered by the General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR) 2005 and thus require a toxicology assessment in addition to having an emissions test conducted.
